JamieP
Your week link will be the fact you are a facelift supra, that means you have a small diff, after your diff the prop will be the next weakest link.

Samurai 20V
Hi. Sorry for the slight thread hijack... On a BPU TT6, would drag racing have any effect on the OEM propshaft or pre-facelift Diff? This with a TRD clutch and possibly Hoosier or BF drag radials? Edited May 19, 2011 by Samurai 20V (see edit history)
JamieP
Pre facelift TT6 diff is the strongest option by far, prop can still twist though.

JamieP
With a hard launch on drag radials it's possible but unlikely I'd say.

Nic
my diff may have been changed before having the carbonetics fitted in it. how can i tell which one it has by looking at the diff ? Left is the larger diff fitted to the early model 6spd TT, right is the smaller diff used on all other Supra models including the late model 6spd TT. http://img210.imageshack.us/img210/2994/supravsoarerex8.jpg
scoooby slayer
oh dear ! il have to check but i think im on the smaller diff ! why would anyone spend over £1000 on a carbonetics diff and not research if a earlier or later better case is needed is completely beyond me ! i was about to order some nitto nt05r aswell
