Chris Wilson
Been offered a great deal on Thermo-Tec 2 inch wide by 50 foot long rolls of asbestos free Thermo_Tec exhaust heat insulation wrap and stainless clipping system. I fitted this on Wez's car, on his single turbo, and with a turbo blanket the temps under the bonnet dropped dramatically. If it's of interest e-mail me direct 9don't PM please), and I'll work out some prices. Cheers.
Pete
I got this stuff on my Tiger, works a treat! Wasn't cheap though - cost me fifty quid for this spec in black.
Wez
When chris installed mine I also got the silver heat spray, done a really nice job, not something I would have attempted myself I have to say. I will try and post up some pics later.
Wolf
On a similar note I can get a very good deal on self adhiesive heat sheild sheet (ally reflective one side , modern version of asbestos the other) rated to 1100 C at good prices (I use them with bike exhausts for work) if anyone ever needs them... Ian C
I think I'm gonna re-wrap mine, it looks like Tutenkhamouns' leg compared to that. Ain't it fun when you first fire the engine up and the new wrap smokes the garage out like it's caught fire Stinks too. -Ian
Wez
Does stink a bit at first but doesn`t last too long The smoke looks worrying if you are not aware its going to do it.

Pete
I just ordered some of this from Demon Thieves, see how good it is. You won't be dissappointed, thought I can't help thinking it would've been cheaper from Chris? I got mine from Europa Spares.
Wez
I originally got mine from Demon Tweeks and yeah its expensive but its the same stuff that Chris is now offering, works great.
Chris Wilson
I think I can sell the 2 inch wide by 50 foot long bandage at 48 quid, and the pack of stainless steel tie wrapping (you get LOADS), for 20 quid. No VAT to pay, but plus 6.80 P&P by Parcel Force. I can't find anywhere else as cheap as this.
