qwarrior
So, I've had the car in pieces, dashboard wise. Have re-assembled it and now the MIL light is on on the dashboard. It used to be because of the auto spoiler on the front as it's been removed, but when I pressed the 'Auto Off' button the light went out. This is not now the case. I did the usual thing and reset the ECU codes (Removing Fuse EF1 with ignition off). Then Started the car, MIL light is still on. So Shorted pins TE1 and E1 and it's showing no codes. Can't figure out why the MIL light is still on. Any suggestions please???
Ian C
If you mean the red light with the ! on it, it could be low brake fluid or even just the handbrake is on If you mean the orange "check engine" light, you should be storing a code... Yup I mean the light with ! on. Handbrake is off, auto spoiler is off, doors are shut. Oil is full, Brake Fuid is full, Power Steering fluid full. That's what is puzzling me? qwarrior
Sorted it. It was the front active spoiler, which has been removed but the short had become disconnected.
