marc_p
Oh really....does it have trays to move the water away from the engine? Yup, I can't quite picture exactly how it works, but it has panels that sit under the vents to make sure that water doesn't piss onto the engine/electricals. Dnk
Have I, sorry, I just saw your car on another Supra forums stand and for assumed it was the tumbleweed forums stand. I would of stopped and said hello but I was running up and down the paddock in a mad rush the first time I saw your car, then when I was walking back later there was no-one there. No problem, apology accepted I think your refering to MSOC, the club where my car was is the mkivgroup and nothing to do with msoc.

That's it, MSOC. Never even heard of mkivgroup tbh, is that more of a regional group? I did notice you had a Gazebo and food though, me and the guy's were thinking of just sitting down and seeing if anyone would notice Was MSOC even at Japfest this year? I'd love to see how these works, because evertime I think about how it could work, the purpose of them (the venting of hot air) seems to get fouled. The TRD is supposed to work as a whole, the TRD bonnet takes cool air in, then the wings vent hot air out:)

SupraDan24
I've got a Top Secret one with a rain guard, i dont use the rain guard however as it fouls on my strut brace. Very nice looking bonnet imo.
GlennK
I saw a couple of neat looking bonnets at Japfest. Don't know how effective they are with heat and water though! What are these ones?

p3te
I have a Carbon Fibre Stout Hood on my car, it has functional air intake and turbo vents, it’s useless for letting water in though as it runs down into the main engine vent. http://img541.imageshack.us/img541/9295/p1000277r.th.jpg

Don't know how effective they are with heat and water though! http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c39/GAK1/DSC01115.jpg What are these ones? thats my car! seems to keep 99% of rain water out. only really lets a tiny bit of water in when washing the car. so it has my vote! and seems to let plenty of heat out as you can see it leaving through the vents Edited May 17, 2011 by tkddav3 (see edit history)

Top one is a JUN bonnet, i have one and like whats been said already, its a pain to keep the engine bay looking good with the amount of vents, but cools the engine nicely :-) quite rare aswell i find, i think me and DodgeyRog are the only 2 i know of with this bonnet.
