Jamesy
Hi guys found a set of stock 16x8 Supra alloys - just checking they'll clear my UK brakes as obviously the 15's need the jspec rear set up back on? Or will they need a spacer? More interested in the rears but be good to know re fronts as well Muchos
bradleyh_15
Well are the rear uk's any bigger than the Jspec fronts? If they are you will need a spacer as they only just cleared my Jspec fronts if that helps! I'm sure someone will know!
scotty71
I would say maybe to the rears and deffo no to the fronts on OEM 16's on big brakes
pedrosixfour
16" rear rims won't clear UK rear calipers without spacers James, I'm sure the same applies to 16" front rims on the back. I have 15mm spacers on my tub and they do the trick.

pedrosixfour
Hold on now James, I think we have wires crossed somewhere buddy. I honestly don't think stock 16's will fit to the front regardless of spacers. I haven't actually tried but I'd say the combination of extra disk and caliper diameter will prevent the wheels from fitting. (With regard to the rears I was making the point that both stock 16" front and rear rims would probably fit to the rear hubs if you used a spacer)

pedrosixfour
I've just checked them and the rims on mine were stock 8" front and 9" rear when I bought the car. Edited May 17, 2011 by pedrosixfour (see edit history)
