Justin Bieber
Hi all, just looking for a bit of advice regarding a potential purchase. I spotted this on eBay the other night and am very tempted. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=180556230314&fromMakeTrack=true&ssPageName=VIP:watchlink:top:en However the price is so low I'm a bit suspicious. I've been on the OBX website and they don't list a manifold for a 93-98 Supra N/A, I sent them an email regarding fitment of the manifold but haven't had a reply yet. Am i right in thinking that there was a supra produced for the american market with the steering wheel on the other side or did i make that up, and would it affect the manifold fitting? Many thanks, Adam
aman00123
Quite a few of the US guys use this manifold and say it's a good one for it's price - as for fitment on RHD i'm not sure but assume it should be fine edit: No idea about the one in your link though, I was talking about their other ones - http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/OBX-TURBO-MANIFOLD-HEADER-93-98-SUPRA-2JZ-2JZ-GTE-T4-/180665937395?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item2a10876df3
Neil-NA
I have an obx one and as soon as whifbitz have their manifold sorted I will be throwing the obx in the bin as it is 100% pure shite.
Justin Bieber
is it poor quality or a poor fit? just out of interest in case I'm ever tempted by another of their products, but I think i'll leave this well alone
Neil-NA
Poor fit, mine needed the runners cutting down and then rewelding to clear the steering rack, the bolt holes didn't line up, it needs 2 gaskets both ends to seal it, It also uses screw in 02 sensors which I got from the US that were off a camaro. Theres a reason they are cheap.
Justin Bieber
Christ mate that's pretty shocking, think I'll wait for a whifbitz manifold too, thanks for the warning
