welshbuddy
oooo, so u bought a rear trial bumper off them, how much did it cost all together if you dont mine me asking , plus is the fitment as good as it sais it is ?
Guigsy
I've seen mixed results from them. I think they got refused trader on here. Trial rears seem to be a pig to fit. Surcharge I guess is because it's so big. I got a replica from someone shipped to knight racer but when it turned up it had been bashed arround and the cost to repair was more than a new one so I got one from knightracer as they were doing the rest of the car. fruity_south
i once bought a front bumper off of them when i needed a replacement when my TOM's one got damaged and iv got to say it was totally S*#%!!!! when it arrived it had chunks missing out of it on the corners and the piece that meets up with the bonnet needed flexing so much that it started to crack as i put i bolted it on. it was all under so much stress and i only unwrapped it for 5 mins. when i phoned to complain they said i had to pay for all the charges for reshipping and restocking! i was proper p'ed off so i payed them a visit with it and there they tried for about an hour explaining that this was perfectly fine and that the very fin layer of fibre glass could take lots of bending and stress to make it fit. i ended up getting my money back and went and bought a second hand bumper of a member on here. safe to say i wouldnt recomened them to anyone. even if i hated the person i wouldnt let them go their. cje001
Great....lol I have heard plenty of decent stuff about them though and their ebay account has a hell of a lot of positive feedback considering they sell fiberglass bodykits...

F*** the restocking fee if its really bad - i`ve tried this T&C in the past and it hold NO water!
SupraJames
The guy that owns the company is a friend of mine I have known for many years, the company was called Replikit but are know called AeroKit, they had a big stand at Japfest, sponser several drift cars and had some very impressive demo cars on display at Japfest, I believe they used to have quite a few issues with fitment, but after complaints they sorted there act out and started test fitting all bumpers. You have to think about the old saying "you get what you pay for", if you have the money to get "genuine" then do so, but some replicas can be very good. I bought a replica Bomex front from a member on here years back and the fit was perfect. I would chat to them and maybe say if the fit is not good the bumper gets returned and see what they say. Having traded in the industry before i know that AeroKit do have a decent reputation - thats why i used them.... Anyway - the proof will be in the pudding and its being fitted over the weekend of the 27th by a chap who has restored cars from the death so he knows his stuff.... Will report. fruity_south
Im well aware of the feedback etc but i just wonder how many of them are people who buy it, it arrives and then leave + feedback before actully getting it to a body shop. By all means if they have changed the way they do things fair play, i just wouldnt go back their after basicly trying to be con'd into taking a poorly made bumper back home. I would just say if you can afford a genuine one, get a genuine one.

I spoke to Andy today and he assured me that all Supra parts are test fitted to their demo supra before being shipped. Mine arrives tomorrow, fitment booked for the weekend of the 27th May.
