New aquarium setup

I thought I'd show you my fishkeeping hobby, which seems to have spiralled out of control.

It all started with my inlaws buying my 3 year old son a tiny 25ltr kids fishtank with two goldfish in.

Knowing that goldfish require loads of space due to them being filthy little buggers, Catfish man off here was kind enough to give me an old discus breeding tank of his which was much more accomodating.

Fast forward a year, and they've grown to the capacity of the new tank, and I didn't like the idea of stunting their growth (I've grown very attached to them :D ).

Scanning ebay revealed a great deal just down the road from me. A 300ltr Rena tank with two large external filters, perfect for fat dirty goldfish. A freind of mine has started a tropical tank, and wanted rid of his two goldfish, which I've adopted. I've also added 4 garra loaches, and 2 weather loaches, just to diversify the tank a bit.

Apparently, the weather loaches grow massive......like 30cm's!!. Should make it interesting when they bury themselves in the gravel. They do it now, leaving just their heads poking out, but if they get that big, they'll be re-arranging all the decorations. It'll be like tremors :D

Check it out....

Sorry for the music, my son was screaming bloody murder in the background of the video, and it was considerably more annoying.

Bonus prize for first person to guess the tune.
