SupraDan24
I've got some autosol, i didnt think it would do the job though as its pretty badly pitted, i thought autosol was for light scratches. I'll give it a go though if you say it will restore it
shaky
You must flat it 1st with 1500 then 2000 wet and dry, then polish it up

SupraDan24
Lol i want to do it myself Swampy, half the fun of owning these cars is working on them. If i can get the engine bay looking mint by myself, i'll be a happy man. I'll let the pro's handle the bodywork. Speaking of which, i must email Rob at some point about getting some bodywork done. shaky
If it is badly pitted then it's fine to use 1200,but you will still need to flat it with 2000 for best results,it will then buff up no problem.do it your self and save your dosh.
