Abz
I know quite a few people drove hundreds of miles to Japfest, not everyone does track says in their Supra.

Homer
It's not really the done thing to complain that others are not using their cars on track when you didn't even do it yourself Not everyone is interested in taking their car on track (in this club most are not) or simply may not have taken theirs on for the same reasons as yourself. Personally I find the price of a session at Japfest rediculously expensive (You do not want to know what it costs clubs to buy a full session!!). If I were to do a track day it'd be a proper one, not the 10 minute show off laps you get at events like this.
Jamesy
Supra is more a straight line car. Just wait for suprapod

Branners
Supra is perfect for track, it will out handle, out brake and out accelerate track machinary like Elises with ease. However I would NEVER take my Supra on track at Castle Coombe. Track sessions with such mixed machinary, mixed skills and most worryingly showboaters for the crowd always end in tears. I have seen 2 Supras destroyed at Castle Coombe when they made mistakes, I have seen a TVR t-bone a Pug 206, an Evo roll and all manner of stuff hit the walls and get dragged away on a truck. So I'm pleased to hear that very few Supras went on track as it means they get to live a little longer and get to real track days. Being new you also wont know about LLandow. Perhaps do a quick search for that to see Supras on a track day.
Guigsy
Most jap cars were represented appart from the supra you said. But you said there was 2... So they were represented then? You can't expect there to be loads on track. Others have to have a go. The guy in the skyline is a perfect case of why many owners don't go on track. NathWraith
Tracking your car is an intensive task. If you have hundreds of miles to come to an event the last thing you wanna do is risk it on a track. Cudos to those who do however I can imagine more supras being on track at japfest2 as I here donning ton is a more forgiving track.

Track time was £35 which was a little steep for the amount of time on the track.... defo full track days next, was good though to get the car and check the new brakes. Homer
£35 for one session which gives about 4-5 hot laps and only at one specific slot during the day. Not good value for money. This event really isn't for track day enthusiasts. If your mate wants to see that invite him to one of the club track days

AJI
Supra is more a straight line car. Just wait for suprapod I'd have to dissagree with that in a way. Straight line is very easy to drive and the Supra can develop power for this, BUT driven well the Supra is more of a track car than many other Jap-import types. Put a standard twin turbo up against a standard >insert many* a jap-import car here *obviously the new GTR and certain special models aimed more for track use can be exluded here. scotty71
The mixed bag of makes, driving skills, show boating, speed, does not get the Supra community jumping at doing a track session as rightly said 15 supras only per session from this club at Llandow and you will get plenty taking it on as we always do

Not a purple r34 with white wheels and slicks i hope?! not blown up matey,it set on fire! i looked in the bay and i lookes like it was something around the turbo that went up first, worse thing was the fuel did not cut off so you can imagine the mess under the bonnet! oh and just for good measure the marshals also used powder all over his interior to make sure it didnt spread.the guy was a wreck as you would be.
