Cheers,daz. Going on what you said the other day regarding amps, you haven't played with the battery terminals or earth cables have you...? Hey bud, I ain't played around, I looked at the power cable to the amp and attached it again, just started to pull away, but how would the earth cable affect it turning on? I don't know much If the earth/live terminals on the battery are loose I'm sure it could cause it. Especially if you were pulling away - engine movement might have caused the cut out when it pulled on the loose terminals... Only a guess, and one that could be checked out easy enough. If not get the alternator checked out at a local garage, I'm sure a second hand one on here would be cheap worst case.
