Have a cheeky bid on one of these at the moment, another car that I have always wanted to own, this one is a 1970 3.5L V8 Series One in white and has been in the same family for 15 years, well looked after just needs some TLC

As some of you know I buy them because I always wanted one nothing to do with the driving experience, with this car the owner of the paper shop I used to do a paper round for had a new one (I was about 13), my dad used to admire it so much (he worked for Rover for 30years) and I got the bug from there I think

A nice little project while looking for the big single

Anyone else like them ?

V8's are addictive, I have had a few ! In fact I still have a 928 S2 which is almost finished as I type !!

well that takes me back, i worked on these as a fresh qualified mechanic. mostly armed police versions as well as others. made you uneasy with a 18 stone sergant over your shoulder.

but road tests even without the blues on s**t they were quick. "o" how youth fades so quickly, when i were a lad etc.........................

Just had the insurance quote = £86.00 for the year , I think I can get a discount if I join a club.

It's not fast , it handles like a dinghy ,but you do arrive in style !!!

No road tax - rocks!!

great price,im looking into getting something old as a daily just work & back 7 miles total,

i dont care what it is as long as its old,ive looked at vauxhall viva's,mk1 fiesta's,toledo's,cortina's,marina's,mk1 & mk2 cavaliers, chevette's

insurance is great lowest ive had is £93.00 highest was £125.00 all quotes fully comp with 0 ncb, imagine in the future someones going to buy a supra & get it insured for £100 because it will be 30 odd years old lol
