tooquicktostop
Have a cheeky bid on one of these at the moment, another car that I have always wanted to own, this one is a 1970 3.5L V8 Series One in white and has been in the same family for 15 years, well looked after just needs some TLC As some of you know I buy them because I always wanted one nothing to do with the driving experience, with this car the owner of the paper shop I used to do a paper round for had a new one (I was about 13), my dad used to admire it so much (he worked for Rover for 30years) and I got the bug from there I think A nice little project while looking for the big single Anyone else like them ? farmer
well that takes me back, i worked on these as a fresh qualified mechanic. mostly armed police versions as well as others. made you uneasy with a 18 stone sergant over your shoulder. but road tests even without the blues on s**t they were quick. "o" how youth fades so quickly, when i were a lad etc.........................
