dani_r
There's been an issue with the Supra starting on occasion since I put it back on the road the other week. Basically the car will 'click' but not turn over, if i leave it for a second and try again it fires up. Any ideas? Feels like starter to me, but hopefully someone will be able to help! Terminator
It is a RRPITA to get off and back on, changing the contacts is easy. There are some useful threads with pics of how to access bolts, they are worth studying before you get stuck in.
a98pmalcolm
Yep i had the exact problem it was on and off for year on a year. But one day (only the other week) it took 10 mins for it to finally catch. I posted up a "Wanted" post and got a whole starter motor for a good price off a a member..

Purity14
Also consider that it could be the battery. Myself and a friend on another occasion had this exact problem. Replaced the battery and it worked fine ever since.
