I was having lots of problems with gear change on my supra. I changed the clutch and slave cylinder master cylinder and now no probs. I did have a RPS street max clutch and now have a compeition clutch so that might have been some if the problem.

Hey,

Thanks for all the replies,

Yeah it is a 6 speed V160 gearbox, the gearchange was a bit clunky before the change btu now worse, i didnt do the change myself, it was done on a 2 post ramp im pretty sure the same time as my diff and engine oil... I drove it once more yesterday and carefully listened, when i dipped the clutch i heard a sligth clunking noise, could this indicate a clutch problem?

Sorry for my small reply's, i was at work...

It had a triple plate clutch fitted november last year (before i owned the car), so i'll check the clutch fluid level when i find it (anyone wanna give me a heads up where to check and bleed this?? :D ) and i've moved the mat out the way as this nearly cought me out too....

I'd like the car runnin tip top for Japshow so all your help is appreciated..

my 6sp doesnt like going into second gear when cold.

well it goes in, just need to push it in a little harder than when its warm.

no clunks with me tho, as above i think its quite common for it to be a bit difficult to get into second gear when cold..
