Josh
I really want some BBS LMs but realistically I can't spend that amount of money on my Supra at the minute due to saving up to move out. What are peoples' thoughts on Jade-Rs? Any good for a cheap wheel? I think they look pretty good on certain Supras, maybe only kitted ones. http://pro-street.dk/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/14177.jpg http://www.scotster.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/Supra/General/DSCF1925%20Done.jpg But then I see these and want to just save up.. Kopite
Top pic (Ibrar's old car) is a photoshop so don't let that lead you BBS style for a stock supra by the way, or some Lexus GS300 ones

Tyson
You do know they don't make these anymore and are very rare !! When a set does come up for sale they are 2000 plus without tyres.

I've maybe been offered some for £1100 in excellent condition.. Edit: It looks like they do still make them http://www.bbs.com/en/showroom/showroom.html but they're expensive new at £500 a wheel. Oh and can a mod move this to "Supra Chat" please? I made a whoopsie.
j_jza80
I'd go for Rotas over other budget wheels I also quite like Team Dynamics pro race wheels, there's a member on here with some black ones that look really good. They're also very light for a budget rim.
Kilps
I've never really fancied the Jade-Rs in pictures, but having seen Ellis' car last weekend, I changed my mind! This also addresses your point of 'maybe only kitted Supras', as Ellis' isn't. It is ridiculously low though, which helps with the overall look. If you can find some pictures of his, they'd be worth a look. I'm pretty sure the picture you've used of the BBS's is Darron_Q's car, which I also saw last weekend and is also stunning! Before I'd have had the BBS's without question... now I wouldn't say no to either.
James
The BBS look great. I'm of the ilk that there is no point in buying twice if you don't NEED TO buy at the time, so you should just buy what you want the first time round.

Is it not the rota reps (gtlm) that they don't make any more? Save up Josh, you won't regret it.
supra joe
jade r are nice wheels but they are almost as common as stock wheels now!
pistonbroke
The wheels on Darron Q's car are not BBS LM's, they're my old Rota GTLM's off my car. And no, they don't make them anymore.
ellis
Mine with Jade RS on from last weekend (sob!). Darrens' (pistonbroke's) look stunning and I'd swap mine in a heartbeat for them. The Jades are OK if you're on a budget (which I was) but the rears have a nasty lip that catches easily and they're not the best made wheel around. The coating flakes easily and if you kerb them, large lumps can fall off.

KamaSupra
Loving Ellis's car, it looks gorgeous Jade R's do look mean and very cool for a cheap set of wheels, but sometimes it's best to hold out longer for what you really want.
Josh
I think I will just hold out for some LMs. I may not be able to buy any for a long time though just 'cause I need to save up to move out and I need a better paid job to be able to fund my Supra modding. Cheers guys, I'll hold out for a bit
Guigsy
I'd love some too. But I like mine now, they just need to be wider at the rear. I only have 255 on the back.
JamieP
Keep an eye on driftworks Josh, seen lots of LM's pop up on there, good source of wheels that forum.

I don't think I can spare the money at the moment and maybe not for a while but if I come into any or have some spare (I'll try and save up) then I'll get some. If you guys want to put together and buy me an early birthday present then that would be nice
bobapple
I wouldn't go for a non forged wheel, as when I bought my car it had some nasty cheap fox wheels on, and the front two had buckled due to the weight of the car, the guy trying balance them had to put about 10 little weights on the rim of the wheel to try and stop steering wheel shake.
