TTRickeh
I have a TT6 with 3.266 final drive ratio. If I changed to the auto LSD diff with 3.7 final drive, would my speedo read incorrectly? If so, is that easily fixed? I assume i've already got some sort of converter there going from kph to mph. Cheers
garethr
It would over-read, i.e. the speedo would show a higher speed than the actual speed. If you can't find an adjustable kph>mph converter, I guess you'd need something like this or this between the gearbox speed sensor and the current kph>mph converter. TTRickeh
Thanks very much. I like the look of that Speedo healer. I'll need to find whether or not my converter is adjustable first, it's probably not though.
David P
Use the speed sensor from the transmission OE fitted with the diff and the speed reading will be correct.
