black_widow87
Hi guys, hopefully tomorrow i will be refitting my new turbo after its rebuild at AET. Only part im unsure of is how to get oil through the system and into the turbo without causing any damage to the turbo. Can anyone shed some light on the procedure so i dont balls it up?! Cheers in advance.
Chris Wilson
Spin the engine over with the igniter and fuel pump unplugged until the oil light goes out. No need for messy pre oiling.

supra matt
You can also just hold the inlet side of the turbo while someone starts the car for you , hold and stop it spinning at idle for around 30 seconds job done .

Chris Wilson
In the boot, under the black tin cover the spare wheel is bolted down to, maybe under the bonnet by pulling a fuse, or a relay, I forget, would need to look.
supra matt
Just the two 30 amp fuses in the engine bay to on the left side think there marked ecu,
greeny
The oil will get to the turbo that fast that i doubt there'l be any dry running problems. But the best idea is to crank the car over like chris says if you want to make sure. If it struggles to make pressure cranking, try removing the plugs which will let it spin faster.
