jazz1 Posted May 11, 2011 Share Posted May 11, 2011 The drivers side gap is like mine at the moment,whereas the passenger side sits nice pressing on the foam edging on the mirror.Maybe i will have to put up with it. i had same problem I tried pushing it but that did not work, in the end I added an extra layer behind the foam on drivers side, of sticky back and that fixed the problem. Ideal thats what i was thinking as when i tighten the bolts it pulls the top out a bit,so extra sticky back to help stop it pulling back. jazz1 Posted May 11, 2011 Share Posted May 11, 2011 Basically there was only so much I could pull and I was afraid to snap anything, in the end I just added an layer of sticky back plastic tape behind the sponge and that fixed the problem.
