Rock stars feel benefit of charity gig

Just seen on the news that the stars of Live8 are feeling the benefit of doing charity work.

Pink Floyd saw a 1300+% increase in sales, The Who an 840+% increase and so on.

The Lib Dems have called on them to donate the extra to charity. It'll be interesting to see who does. Maybe they only want to 'make poverty history' for themselves.

and The Scissor Sisters did it with their new single. Pretty low trick

And the bird from Scissor Sisters had a go at Mariah for playing her new single, when they played their new song that hadnt even been aired before.

At the end of the day i bet every single artist there was mainly there for their own personal benefit, and tbh whats the problem with it?
