Charlotte
In real life that is. More and more people in my work place seem to be under a cloud of anger, it's really quite depressing. What's troubling you today? Or are you just a nice happy person? That's it really.
spidermonkey
there does seem to be an increase in angry people at the moment, recession maybe?
mellonman
i did used to be a very angry man, and alway thought bad things where happening to me,but i turnt my life around just by changing the way i looked at things. pint half full sort of thing, so when bad things happened i used to get stressed and flip out! ( which made more bad things happen) but now i try and look at the good point of the bad thing, being it could have been alot worse and alot of people are worse off . AndrewOW
Nope, I'm fine as I am, as it happens. Hoping to make a few more good things to happen, but I'm quite laid back really. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!

Totally agree, the more really bad things that happen to me in life tend to give me a better perspective on what it REALLY important. Don't get mad..get happy. Lbm
No!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Edit: This attempt at internet shouting is not working...I wanted uppercase throughout the word 'no' I mean, how hard can it be just to shout properly? Eh??? To answer the question, I am still surprised at the silly small things that make me cross and yet usually, with the bigger difficulties that come along, I seem to deal with them in a relaxed fashion. Strange...
Josh
I'm happy and chilled out but sometimes have a short temper. Are you angry much Charlotte?

Gaz6002
I've noticed people are a lot more touchy these days. I think it's sad and I feel sorry for them. People seem to have lost their motivation and their sense of humour since the financial crisis started to tighten its grip.

tbourner
I'm a pretty angry person, I think I should probably see someone about it. Trouble is I like the way I am, I'm looking forward to being old so I can be a miserable old git. No!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Strange... Go back and edit it again, it'll allow you to use NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think the forum requires a certain amount of lower case letters in a post before it allows all uppercase in a word - probably to stop people who don't know how caps lock works. stevie_b
I'm fairly chilled, although some things do wind me up. I think peoples' anger is due to jealousy and a feeling that society owes them something. The average Joe is jealous of bankers, bankers are jealous of GPs' working hours, GPs are jealous of MP's work/life balance, MPs are jealous of the average Joe's control of his own destiny in his job. See where this is going? My tip: don't believe all of what you read in the newspapers. Newspapers are there to sell newspapers, not to give you a balanced view of how good or bad other people's lives are.

Havard
I am an perceived as being an angry person but I do laugh a lot aswell. Lately I have been really busy and have lost my sense of humour a wee bit. I find that a Lemsip and relaxing (in a gentlemans way) seems to help. I do not suffer fools or liars easily and they do tend to get the wrath of me pretty quickly. That said, I am still the funniest person I know..!! H.

Charlotte
So there's a mix of anger and not so angry - that's good. It does seem a lot more people are quite happy to get into a fight, be it in the supermarket, on the road, at work. I'm all for people being honest and speaking their mind but often it's completely uncalled for. I often find myself asking people - Are you happy in your life? Quite a considerable amount of people aren't. Are you angry much Charlotte? I don't get angry at all (well, very rarely and it would have to be something I'm really passionate about for me to raise my voice and stuff) - my friends and family consider me very chilled. I do find stupidity annoying, especially at work.

BazzaAlpine
I gave up being angry. Now I'm just resigned to being constantly depressed.
ozz
My company is driving me up the wall with crazy procedures, crazy outsourcing - everyone is stressed and that is manifesting in more 'anger'. I've lost my patience over the last few months and its evident in my comments in email or in meetings. It a self preservation thing I think. Branners
I'm angry, and I'm petty with it. So if somebody annoys me on a train with their massive laptop bag by wearing it when the train is chocka I will keep pushing back on them so they get squished, or if they are reading a paper on a crowded train I will happily scrunch through the paper on my way out. Angry and petty, its the new vindictive. But then I'm relaxed about letting people through doorways, taking a seat before me, giving up my seat for people that need it. Its only inconsiderate people that I focus on...
Lbm
That said, I am still the funniest person I know..!! H. Hmmm, I'm certainly one of the shortest people I know. Speaking of which, sometimes I get accused (I don't really) of small man syndrome. A mini Hitler if you will - But I feel it's more due to my small square moustache and inexplicable raising of my right arm more than my bad meglomaniac attitude that draws these peasants to their conclusions.
