TrickTT
You can buy an aftermarket warrany yourself, but i wouldn't bother. Cars over 10 years old and with (probably)high miles have so much small print, you'd just be wasting your money. Much better getting one of here, from a guy who knows and looks after his car. Duffers
IMO - I think I'd prefer the "peace of mind" feeling from buying one from someone on here rather than a dealer to be honest. Paul

Alpine
Some dealers dont have a clue about the mechanical side and play it dumb. dont listen to the person your buying it off but look for yourself with the paperwork and service history. Who sells it to ya doesnt really matter and main "reputable dealers" never really want too specialist cars
Big Ads
Thankyou guys this is the first post i have posted, and i appreciate the feed back i may now consider purchasing a Supra off here. But you would not suggest a seperate Warranty??
lovatt
i could include a warranty with my car that i am selling, but on a car over 10 years old it really is a waste of time
carl0s
Have a word with Lovatt, he is selling his TT and she is a beauty !! she's an absolute stunner!! but she's not a UK-spec.
Big Ads
It'd really have to be a UK spec unfortunatly, I'm 23 and insurance goes from insanely unaffordable with an import, to just affordable with a UK spec. And it has a sexy bonnet scoop!!
lovatt
mine has the scoop and my insurance at 23 is £

michael
My UK is up for grabs if the right money is offered (see garage for spec) and my insurance is £600 - I'm in my 20's - I won't say which end
Big Ads
how do i "See your garage" ?? sorry im new, forget that ive just worked it out
Homer
Have you tried the club insurer (SKY) or A Plan special schemes? They don't seem to care whether its an import, but your lack of no claims certainly won't help matters. With regard as to where to purchase a UK one, you should really look to this forum as many of the cars are 'known'. In my experience the general car dealers usually have the worse quality cars; most of the specialists tend to deal with good quality imports (Jurgen, Newera, etc) - not much use to you if you are only after a UK model. michael
how do i "See your garage" ?? sorry im new I forgot how annoying it can be to find, apologies http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/vbgarage.php?do=view&id=695 That should take you straight there, normally you'd click my username and the profile link that appears, then the garage link is buried on the left of that page somewhere. michael
how many miles has it does, it looks awesome ~97k with a full Toyota history until 78k and then my own overkill history with oil changes every 3000 miles, posh plugs, regular coolant changes, most fluids changed several times in my 2 years of ownership and all the common problems resolved at great expense.... damn money pit
