Rookey
Hey everyone, I'm having a bit of difficulty getting the aerotop to sit on it's rests/catches in the boot, as whenever they are carrying the weight of the aerotop, they collapse and the bits attached closest to the rear lights go flat instead of forming the needed "L" shape. Does anyone have any ideas on how I can lock these in place so it doesn't happen? I want to put a sub in the boot but I'm not going to risk it if it's not sturdy enough with the roof in! Any help is appreciated. Thanks, Dave
Guest ugp
Cant say I've ever had that Dave, they should lock in place as soon as you move then into the L shape, and need the button depressed before they fold flat. Don't suppose the release buttons are stuck?
hodge
The mechanism inside is worn. You'll need to renew them mate unfortunately. I had the same issue with mine but luckily I had a spare set.
Rookey
Ah crap, so renewing is the only option then? Does anyone have the part number as I don't have the EPC! Were they expensive to replace? Cheers Dave
