Rookey
Hey all, I took the dash fascias out to repaint the other day, put everything back in as carefully as I took it out, but for some reason my two tripometers aren't working properly. As I'm driving they rack up the distance, but as soon as I turn off the ignition they reset to zero. Does anyone have any ideas what could cause this? Swampy442
Not sure on Toyotas but some cars have a little battery on the dash that powers the memory, if thats dead it wont save the data.
Rookey
Hmm I'll have a look for that then... But it was working perfectly before I took the dash off, and also it's all electronic and still shows me the mileage of the car and let's me flick between trips? Chris Wilson
It's probably your wife checking on your movements. Mine does it.
