SupraDan24
As per title, i'm trying to remove my DL sideskirts and there's something holding it on at the very back which i cant find. I've removed all the screws holding it on near the front wheel and the underside, but where it meets the rear panel there's something holding it on and i'm scared of breaking it. I've removed the rear wheel to get a better look and i still cant see anything, i dont think it can be screws so i'm thinking maybe some sort of glue? Any info would help, i'm going to try upload a video now to show what i mean.

SupraDan24
OMG dude, my Sat Nav was taking me in a big circle lol. I'd switched on something called "GPS simulator" on my Sat Nav, thinking it might give me a GPS speed, what it did i dont know, but the Sat Nav WILL NOT work with it on lol. It was telling me i was driving in the right direction on the A12, and the little car was even moving towards my house on the map, but i was driving in a big circle along the M25 lol. Its in the bin now. It didnt take long no, i decided the remove them the second i parked next to yours !!

David P
If you are lucky it will be double sided tape, soak with WD40 and be patient, maybe once a day for a week? Then use a plastic window spacing wedge to work the tape apart, it will take ages to remove all the bogeys without damaging the paintwork underneath. If you are unlucky it could be polythene, then you may end up removing them with a coarse sanding disc.
David P
I have just re-read your post, there are clips that will twang out when you get brave.
SupraDan24
So its just clips holding it together at the back then? Because i gave it a little encouragement and it was makin noises like plastic cracking underneath, hence the reason why i stopped in the first place. SupraDan24
Right, i'm leaving that on. I've tried yanking it without about 80% of my force and its started cracking the skirt. What ever thats held on by is strong enough to cause the skirt to split rather than come away, luckily the damage is very minimal atm and is hidden by the door, anymore force and i'm scared it'll break so i'll let the bodyshop do it once i have my new skirts.
