MIL Light after VSV Removal

Just a quick question...

I fitted an EBC today and thought that if the VSV isn't being used I might as well take it out. I unplugged it and blocked up the other ends etc but before removing it I thought I would just give it a go. When I went in to start the car the MIL light was on.

Is that because I removed the plug from the VSV or have I done something else? Of course I plugged the VSV back in but the error hasn't cleared itself, I guess it's maybe stored?

If this is correct, how do people remove the VSVs for TTCs? I've read of people hardwiring for TTC mode and removing the VSVs and rats nest, surely this would bring about an error? This is the reason I'm thinking it could be something else.

Obviously I'll be checking for error codes, will get to that later :D

Thanks

when i fitted my ebc i left the unused vsv there still plugged in and didnt have a error light .

also left the vsv plugged in when doing ttc as was a test to see if i liked it

i guess just reset ecu once you have plugged all vsv back in and see if the error comes if it does i would guess that you might have a wire loose when doing the ebc conections
