den1
All The cast aluminium pipes in my engine bay are dull and have white oxide dust on them Would anybody know what to use to bring them back to bright? Thanks Den
The-Plethora
Was about to post almost the same question myself. I have a polished throttle body and other bits. I used some engine degreaser (gunk) to clear the worst off and have autoglym metal polish to do the rest. I tried to find the autoglym engine degreaser at my local Halfrauds but none in stock. It still leaves a haze like you are having though so I am open to any ideas also. Maybe one of those dremels with the rotary polishing head would be good for some bits. Got to look pretty for JapFest.
Josh
I had a go with some Brasso. It did nothing.

Westy
As said above they need to be sanded back prior to polishing for best results!
den1
As said above they need to be sanded back prior to polishing for best results! The only thing I am looking for at the moment is to just clean them up!

Scooter
You can get some wire brushes that are like tooth brushes that will get the white oxide dust off the alloy pipes quickly and easily.
