Guest George89
I have just finished my engine conversion from NA-TT and the car is running 0-9 bar. It has a restrictor ring and a NA HKS hi-power silence exhaust which i understand is smaller then the TT ones. Whats the best way too get too 1.2 bar? if i take the restrictor ring out would it overboost? when my cat back is smaller then TT? or should i make a bigger whole in the ring? scotty71
there is no exact science, each car will be different - shave off a mm round and see what that does then reshave

mr lover
dont change the size of the rr, boost controllers can only raise boost
shaky
If your boost controller is set to max then open your rr a bit at a time, some peeps run a 1 bar, others 1.2 bar,rr so it's trial and error,do not take your rr out
Mario
Oke so the gearbox will withstand the extra gains in bhp by going BPU, nice one George, try to get the diameters of your system exhaust sorted, 3'' straight through would be perfect for a bpu'd supra, when with a 3'' straight through the boost will run over 1,2 bar get an 1,2 bar restrictor ring in your system exhaust to prevent over boosting,

So now i set it too 1.1 bar until i get a EBC
