bigbloodyturbo
I'm in the process of taking the turbo's of the side of my TT and to get the egv valve out i'm going to drop my whole exhaust out of the way. However the cat temp sensor appears to be seized in place and both bolts have corroded so bad there are no flats left on them. Is it ok to just cut the sensor of from its loom as i know tieing it to one side is ok? has anyone done this?

bigbloodyturbo
should be ok, insulate the end though I just cut it off, i might splice it back on if it causes an error light to come on but if not then i suppose its electrical tape time!
