I had to look up Buckfast, its a wine made by monks. I feel particularly aggrieved that you'd use the suffering of monks under the dissolution to make a so called "joke." Mind you, what do I know, I have no kids, I think if I did I would not use a disabled child as a step-up onto a moral high ground when the mood suits me.

Right Chaps,

Took "some" advice.. Looked at a defender in Chelmsford, and 6 discovery's.. all of which had done 140k+ mileage and had more rust on them than the titanic...

Having said that,... I found another discovery local to me, with a Winch, snorkal, 122K, lights, roof rack thingy, 2" lift, nice wheels, etc etc.. Bid on it last night and won.. so going to collect it tonight hopefully. Has one patch of rust where you open the door (rear drivers side) by the wheel arch, but not that bad..

will let you know how i get on... or should i say, if i get home..

Craig.

didn't look at a wrangler - the main reason being that a freind of mine had one, and although they are awsome bits of kit, he used to do a tank of fuel every 160miles or so.. - ended up selling it due to the fuel costs..

not too sure what model he had though - think it was a petrol..
