Guest Andy Bird
As it says? Have done loads of swaps on 200sx to the stage of being able to.get the engine out in an hour! But not done that much on the supra. Looking at it im sure i could get it out pretty quick but what needs changing? Is thereloads of sensors to swap etc in the bay and wiring mods to do? Mechanical.items are no probs but wiring is.my.enemy!

nevins
If you know what your doing and handy with tools, and willing to put in the hours then yes, but seeing as you are use to s bodies and not mkivs then I would say you may need to take a few more days to make sure you have done it correctly and of course safely. I think you'll get the engine out and in easily enough with your experience..............you can unplug the loom in the passenger side footwell and push it up through the bulkhead and then 'just' pull the engine. There are wiring issues with the fuse box in particular from memory. There are a few extensive threads about the conversion, "Trig" and "Miko.." ring bells. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?136136-NA-to-TT-engine-transplant-step-by-step-guide-(Pic-heavy) Edited May 4, 2011 by Scooter link added (see edit history)

Chris Wilson
I have seen plenty of N/A to TT conversions that looked like they were done in two hours
marbleapple
I have seen plenty of N/A to TT conversions that looked like they were done in two hours Hope none were yours! If I tried I would never finish. I'd end up putting the engine in upside down or something.
