Suprab1
I am currently looking for trade insurance as i am doing a bit of repair work & car sales at home. As i've never had trade insurance before i'm a little confused on what i really need. I'm thinking cover to drive cars & garage insurance for tools & stuff. Have i missed anything? What's the difference between road risk & liability insurance?
supracars
Road risks is basic cover to provide you with protection whilst out on your daily duties driving about, in case you have an accident run some over etc. Or you can have a combined insurance package which is more comprehensive package that will include road risks, stocking of vehicles, buildings cover, empolyers liability, public liability, products liability . So basically the liability bit provides cover in case some from the public enters your garage and gets hurt, your employee gets hurt or if your product harms a customer, ie accident caused by a fault of yours.
