Guest irb333
Hi guys im wondering if any one can help as im pulling my hair out, slight insight the head went on the car a few months ago and i lost all boost from first and second turbo, the head was replaced and seems to be idling over steady and smoth the car boosts up well on the first turbo but seems to generate back preassure when the second turbo is due to kick in, i spoke to a mate who seems to think it could be a dodgy actuator but i thought i would ask the guuys who really know what their on about. Mistermann
I'm not sure if this will help but over the last few weeks I have been battling with my boost to get it running correctly - frankly its behavoir was random to say the least. Sometimes it worked fine, sometimes the second turbo came online late and sometimes the 1st turbo did nothing and subsequently the second wasnt spooling either. I checked every hose imaginable, the actuators etc and finally the bov - it showed some improvement once i had checked all of these bits but it still wasnt right - it finally started working properly when I flushed the oil and changed the oil filter. Since giving the beast an oil change its working spot on!
