Calorus
How is a JDM 1993 N/A Supra's air flow measured? I believe it's MAP, although the USDM one (which the Service Manual refers to) is AFM. Have had a look on here and on the internet more widely and I'm struggling to get a definitive answer. If anyone could tell me where it was and perhaps even what it might look like, that would be amazing. Thanks!
David P
The N/A MAP sensor is fixed to the bulkhead and connected to the inlet manifold by a short length of vacuum hose.
JustGav
Just around where the water pipes go in for the heater matrix, it is labelled up as a MAP sensor I seem to recall....
Calorus
Cheers guys, tracked it down! It's labelled "Sensor Assy, Vacuum" and fortunately/unfortunately doesn't seem to be the cause for my issues... Haw-Hum.
