MichaelG
Ok can anyone help with the coke tags thing, i am lost ! I hd a song in mind i wanted to try and find as a ringtone, its the Lucozade advert theme, "Bathtime in Clerkenwell" I dialled the number on the side of the coke tin, played the song off my cd, down the phone, and true enough i got a text back 20 secs later with the correct name of the song, saying : "Coke Tagged" THE CLERKENWELL KID: "Bathtime in Clerkenwell" or select as prize if you win. Nxt tag 25p + std call. 2 hours later i get a text saying : "Congratulations you have won! Choose your prize now: txt POLY or MONO for a ringtone, or DOWN for a music download to 62345. U can then choose the music you want. So i text POLY to that number, and it returns me a service message with a WAP link in it, saying i can choose my POLY ringtone from Coke. By this time i asume i can choose the "Bathtime in Clerkenwell" tone somehow, i create a GPRS connection and the message reads: COCA COLA (LOGO APPEARS) My Coke Tags:- 09:54 Sat 02.07.05 > The Clerkenwell Kid: Bathtime in Clerkenwell Official Chart: (5 different tracks) Coketag chart: (5 different tracks) Terms and Conditions Now it lets me highlight any track in the Official or Coketag chart for download, but not the one i want thats there sat listed in "My Coke tags" Why is this ? Am i doing something wrong ?? How frustrating !!!!!!!!!! Cheers in advance Michael
Matt T
Its probably a con trick tbh. I would cancel before they send you 1million ringtones and charge you £4.99 for each one! Just download the some on your PC and transfer it to your phone
MichaelG
Hmmm never thought of that, if i get a USB / Data Transfer cable, can i transfer an MP3 onto my phone? Its a 6230.
MR.B
I think most of the newer Nokia's allow you to use MP3's as both ringtones and message tones. You could always use an audio editor and create your own from the MP3's - thats what I do. You can easily copy MP3's,pictures etc across from your pc to your phone if you have the correct cable or better still - a card reader. garetheves
Ive got the 6230 and its easy to transfer mp3s across, either via the cable to take the memory card out and put it in a card reader.
