fastnfurious Posted April 29, 2011 Share Posted April 29, 2011 (edited) just curious if there's anything possibly "hidden" inside this big and hardened rubber hose (as highlighted in red rectangle) before i proceed to replace it? spotted some oil stain surrounding the edges of this hose, is this ok? i've got the replacement part with me now and hope it's not a difficult job... suppose just need to undo the 2 jubilee clips? btw, got this pix from elsewhere but just need to show you guys the exact hose i'm referring to... boomstick Posted April 29, 2011 Share Posted April 29, 2011 Yep, removing the old one and installing a new hose is easy, nothing hidden inside: undo the 2 clips, remove the old rubber hose and install the new rubber hose. Installing the new hose can be a PITA, but thats probable because I have no technical skills I replaced the factory one with a cheap ebay silicon hose... that was a mistake. It can not handle the heat and is allready sagging! I will replace it with a hose from siliconhoses.com, far better quality! Dennis Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
