how to replace this big rubber hose?

just curious if there's anything possibly "hidden" inside this big and hardened rubber hose (as highlighted in red rectangle) before i proceed to replace it? spotted some oil stain surrounding the edges of this hose, is this ok? i've got the replacement part with me now and hope it's not a difficult job... suppose just need to undo the 2 jubilee clips?

btw, got this pix from elsewhere but just need to show you guys the exact hose i'm referring to...

Yep, removing the old one and installing a new hose is easy, nothing hidden inside: undo the 2 clips, remove the old rubber hose and install the new rubber hose.

Installing the new hose can be a PITA, but thats probable because I have no technical skills :)

I replaced the factory one with a cheap ebay silicon hose... that was a mistake. It can not handle the heat and is allready sagging! I will replace it with a hose from siliconhoses.com, far better quality!
