liam1 Posted April 28, 2011 Share Posted April 28, 2011 took the car out today for a short trip and noticed a little whinning noise from the back drivers side when turning left on the journey back, it has bugged me all night so just took it out again to see if it did it again, did loads of left turns car no whinning until i got back home and as i was turning into my drive it whined a little bit, car is a n/a auto any ideas guys. Bossco Posted April 29, 2011 Share Posted April 29, 2011 Are you sure it's from the rear? You might just need a drop of power steering fluid if you hear the whining on full lock. You can tell if it's power steering without having to drive the car. Just start it up and put it on full lock, if it's whining stick some fluid in.
