ilicos
Hi Lads, I had a silly accident a couple of weeks back where I crashed into the back of a car. Long story short is that the body shop have advised that the car is beyond economical repair, but it is only panel damage and nothing structural at all! - I'm waiting for the insurance to get back to me with a quote, or to tell me what to do next, as I've never been in this situation before. The car is a 2002 X-Type 2.1 V6 Auto and needs wings, bonnet, bumper and N/S lights and a spray of course. Can I ask to get another quote from an independant repair shop or is their word final? Cheers for the help in advance and sorry for sounding like a numpty
jonathanc
To be fair that damage to the car described is definitely beyond economical repair for any insurer. I would suggest phoning up your insurance to see their take on it.
