pipes at the front

This is a bit of a newbie questions, but on an jspec tt manual infront of the air con radiator are hard pipes running from the passenger side and back, in S'ish shapes. Are these oil pipes/power steering?

I've had to move them to fit a towing eye and they are now resting (layer of foam inbetween) against the air con pipes. are these going to get very hot? Potentially cause a problem?

If you remove the 10mm retaining bolt that goes into the chassis leg iirc you can relocate it a bit lower if need be mate. Just knock up a bracket out of a bit of ally or similar.

I've not re-attached it to the chassis leg, seems reasonably solid as I've moved the clip slightly at the front and it's pushed down by the towing eye. Plus knocking up a bracket is beyond my tool kit range :(
