Noz
just want some opinions guys. im 5"10 and theres no way I can put a adult behind me while in the car, so its a 3 seater to be fair. whats peoples views on taking the seats out, some people have said its a bad idea as it ruins the looks but ive got limo tint so you wont be able to see anyway. im only NA so any weight reduction will help, they've gotta weigh a couple kilo's? DuaneT.Turbo
I took mine out and installed harnesses, probably save 10 - 15kg.... not much extra noise suprisingly...

t-one234
ive been thinking about this, but i decided against it as im going to keep my car OEM+
DuaneT.Turbo
Do you have a rollcage? No.. I attached them to my back seatbelt points at the moment... Im aware that some people think this can be dangerous if the angle is too low but i do very limited mileage a week if its actually used so until i purchase a harness bar im sure i'll be fine
Noz
ive been thinking about this, but i decided against it as im going to keep my car OEM+ what engine you running? the seats must be nearer 20kg at least?
Scott
It does detract from the looks if you just take the seats out and leave it. If you do something along the lines of what Jay did (Jevansio) then I think it can look pretty good.
Al Massey
Ill be taking my seats out and putting a nice install in there. Wasnt there a member who took the rears out and carpetted up? im sure i saw a few pics and it looked good

Westy
I'll be keeping mine in place - looks weird without them!?
monsween
I think it looks better. No added road noise as i've got foam and carpet laid down. It'll be getting a re-jig when I take out the seat belts but overall i'm really happy with it. However most people say put the seats back in

jmcc42uk
any more pics of Supras with rear seats taken out? Is it just a case of folding the existing boot carpet down to make it look tidy?
jonc
I quite like what Inferno did to his interior when he removed his back seats. Well to be fair his whole project was stunning:shock: but his rear seat removal was very tidy . Use this link and scroll downhttp://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?220866-My-Supra-Restored-and-Built-from-the-Ground-Up./page25 it may give you an idea. Mario
just a picture so you can see how it is done in my supra, they removed the rear seats and installed a ''porsche'' carpet, custom made to fit the supra, bought at suprasport
