Josh
LOL At least the Supra owner population on the island won't all pop it's clogs anytime soon, as us four are all around the same age Indeed! Plus we'd never get caught by the police for speeding as all the ones I saw were in new shape Fiestas ... Unless they have helicopters, then they could just hover above the centre of the island and we'd never lose 'em
Robzki
Mine is up for sale at a bargain price, I feel I may be pushing the prices down and feel a liitle guilty about it if I'm honest. bpu, standard with average mileage - £23500
Robzki
"Autos are boring" every one take cover! waiting for the auto boys to roll up now We've been here for ages, waiting for you 'manual boys' to roll up with your clutch issues and missed gear changes. If we were any quicker we'd get labelled as 'premature'
Dnk
how much are these silly clutches you guys need every 6 months ?
Kirk
A strong TT auto who knows how to work the auto box would leave a manual TT from a dig. Even though im manual myself and i prefer them an auto is VERY much underestimated.
Josh
how much are these silly clutches you guys need every 6 months ? I've actually got an updated clutch. Doesn't half make my foot and leg ache when stuck in traffic though!!
scotty71
clunky speed speeds with there rattly clutches - auto all the way Back to the original post Dints in bodywork - Alloys need a refurb - and NO history. Ian R
Looking at the stain in the passenger footwell would suggest a heater matrix/ cooling problem as well
Swampy442
- and NO history. Personally I wouldnt touch any Supra without history So how many Supras have history? Not many Ill wager. And that car isnt cheap enough!

Guest Goughy
Well I am looking at get a TT, been looking at tooquicktostops's which is an auto...will i miss changing gears myself?!
Attero
Think you should give both a test drive. Autos are great, but a manual is a manual at the end of the day, and if you prefer driving manuals, that is what you will prefer.
Rob_Mitchell
tooquicktostops's supra is stunning, i drove a couple of bpu auto's and they are awesome- like a big go kart the only reason i would ever go manual is if i start to bhp chase and start craving the buzz. Guest Goughy
Well I haven't really driven many autos so its hard to say whether I would prefer it or not. Anyone had an auto and got really annoyed with it and had to go back to a manual? I know I wouldnt want it changing at stupid revs and to keep flicking between say first and secod in traffic, do they do that?
scotty71
So how many Supras have history? Not many Ill wager. And that car isnt cheap enough! Mine was imported in 2000 and has every MOT and every reciept of what was bought for the car in that period and any work carried out. Some may have non at all like you say. But the question to that would be why has it no history

I describe my BPU to anyone dubious about the auto as "a 400bhp go kart" Edited April 27, 2011 by scotty71 (see edit history)

You'd have to be careful of kickdown if you're flooring it too, especially on bends. I went for a 6 speed because I want to be in complete control and I like to be able to hold it on the clutch and stuff. I wouldn't have an auto, but that's just me. You may love the ease of not having to change gear and that.
j_jza80
Auto bpu (maybe small single?) is more fun than a manual. Kickdown on bpu is insane
