tbourner
http://www.smoochrings.co.uk/ Where we got ours from, they have to come round and see you though, they bring rings with them and you try them on and choose which one you want, then order it and they make it for you for delivery a few weeks later - so that doesn't help you at all. Supra ST Myster
Hi I bought my engagement ring from Diamond Heaven. Very good service and good price! But after looking on their site I decided seeing as I am spending so much money Id rather drive the 90miles up to Birmingham (They are based on the Jewelry Quarter) and speak to them direct ect and that was a very good move! Mainly because you can choose your stone and see it up face and personal and also you learn a lot! I wanted to get a ring with diamonds down either side and didn't realise that if you bought from the site and choose a .5 diamond that they take a cut from that diamond and use it to fit on the sides so the actual main diamond will go down to about a .3 making it look rather small! So went for a platinum ring with a .56 as the main and .21 diamonds down the side with a E rating in colour and a VS2 clarity and an AGI Certificate and below is the end result! Cost just shy of £2000 and got a good deal of the actual price with a bit of haggling! Good trick is to go near closing time so you can use that as a good haggling tool! If you have any questions give me a shout as had learned a lot from this experience!
