p3te
When my car come over from japan it had an old greddy boost controller, turbo timer and speed meter, I’m tidying my dash up and have already removed the knackered boost controller. My question is though to remove the turbo timer is it simply a case of tracing all the wires from the unit back and removing them all or is it a bit more complicated than that i.e. cables needing reconnected/spliced or whatever? Same goes for removing the speed meter. This is the turbo timer and speed meter: http://img222.imageshack.us/img222/2889/dsc00049tc.th.jpg

Guest ugp
You will usually find the turbo timers are have a daisy chain type connector, ie it sits in between the loom multiplug and the ignition barrel. Just a case of removing it and plugging the two connectors back together. If it has been tapped into the loom, just trace the wires back, cut and insulate them. As for the speed meter, they are usually tapped into the speed signal going to either the ecu or the dash. Again, trace the wires back, snip and insulate them.
