roboldham
Hi there - on a J-spec with standard alloys what should the revs vs. speed be? I am reading around 3,100 rpm at 90 leptons And 6,200 at around 180 leptons I am thinking this is innacurate speedo - as I there was power and revs left in the motor and can't believe its gonna hit 190+ for real - any more to compare? GPS would be handy! Tiptronic / Auto JSpec R
wesmi01
Hmm i managed 150 leptons at 6800 in 5th.

THOR Racing
I get 2800rpm ish at 80 and just over 3000rpm at 90. (about 3100 like you) At least the DSC is configurable and you can fine tune this out. I do have a GPS unit but never actually used it to set the accuracy of my Speedo. Just never got around to it I guess. Regardless of revs try counting the motorway markers (at 100m apart) and time passing say 20 of them. Then you'll get a good average speed calc. If you work out the error I can fine tune it when we next meet. Pete
Matt Harwood
I did something on this a while back. If I remember correctly, there were quite a few cars doing 84 at 3000 rpm. I think Ian C's was confirmed by GPS. HTH Matt ps. My speedo reads exactly 90 at 3000 dead. My Road angel GPS reads 84. I wasn't brave enough to check the rpm at 180! Thanks for the offer Pete - are you going to Santa Pod R
Doug
I think I got 84 @3000rpm too if that helps, I've seen the speedo read 160 before but was worrying about the fast ending motorway to notice the rpm at the time
THOR Racing
Thanks for the offer Pete - are you going to Santa Pod Rob, Highly likely. If only to spectate. All I need is a percentage ERROR and we can correct it. Pete
Need4Speed
GPS would be handy! Road Angel has this, switchable between MPH & Km/h.
