I'd put money on this being the thing bud, I took mine out today and the transformation from the TRD to the OEM mount in both noise & the "less clunky" way it shifts is just amazing (when I fitted the OEM mount I just let it idle in the garage which was enough to prove the noise had gone),

what kind of noise do you experience with the trd mount in?

Bit like getting a metal bar and putting one end on the tranny, and one end to your ear, lots of meshing and general gear type noise, the noises you get with a lightweight flywheel are also magnified too (which I had fitted) so it was a double whammy

that was exactly what mine sounded like i never had the noise when i had a standard flywheel as soon as a lightened flywheel was fitted it started,

i was considering fitting a standard flywheel again but thought i would try the mount first after seeing your thread and im glad i did thanks mate:cool:
