Just driven to Eastbourne and hit a massive pothole and now have two punctures on my drivers side!! :( may also have damaged my front wheel just after they have been refurbed! So no bloody mobile tyre fitters will bloody come out as they "don't have my sizes in" surprising that as I went through 3 different sizes for the front and back! So just getting taken back to mine to pick up my spare set of wheels!!!!!

And breath! :(

Feel for you mate, the roads are a total disgrace in this country, especially when you consider the amount us motorists pay the government each year

When I swaped my wheels to send the car to the bodyshop, I found a bulge on the inside tyre wall, almost certainly caused by a pothole.

The tyres have a good 6mm of thread left and they don't make them anymore, so going to have to ditch the pair

It's so frustrating that they don't care! Especially if the pothole has not been reported and your the first poor bugger to come across it! :(

I made the mistake and reported a pothole and claimed at the same time, they've turned around and said because I'm the first to report it, they wont cough up. Funny thing is the 4ft x 2ft x 5 inch deep trench has now been repaired!

£1300 quids worth of damage there. Might just refuse to pay my road tax for a bit!

Up here there is a village called Skeeby and its a bit of a shortcut from the A1 to Richmond, so very large and severe speedhumps were installed to prevent this. Lots of villagers then complained about noise and potholes forming and damage to their own vehicles, and last week in the local paper a man wrote in to complain that he was driving very slowly over said speedhumps when he was pulled by a patrol car following him. They warned him he was causing an obstruction and that he must travel at speed, up to 30mph, over the potholes else they would fine him if they caught him again.

I thought that now takes the biscuit. Damaging road (lack of) maintenance and now the police will fine you if you try to prevent damage to your vehicle.
