JohnA
Mikey why don't you post pictures of the plug tips mate. Try and get good closeups. The plugs Slowdog sells for £55 are best for increased boost, and at a good price, cheaper than anywhere else.

JohnA
Another choice Get some NGK'S NGK BKR7E (6097) about £10.30 for 6 from your local Partco motor factor I also use NGKs, same heat range but the iridium or platinums. It's not a 2-minute job to swap the plugs on this engine, so I prefer to extend these intervals.
mikeyh
well i think ive got a serious fueling issue i believe this might be why my car is misfiring {no fuel} who would you guys reccomend to look at this before i blow another engine is ther anything my self can check and replace or has it got to go on the rollers really
JohnA
The car could also be misfiring because of too much fuel. Without monitoring on a wideband you're bound to jump into premature conclusions and presumptions. A methodical approach is best.

JohnA
but if too rich it shouldn,t burn plugs should it. is this true? If it's too rich in some load conditions it may be an indication that other parameters are out of spec as well. I prefer measurements to internet speculation (old fashioned, I know... ) How do you know that your coils are all in pristine condition for example? You've got to start eliminating things logically, one by one.
