SupraP-Z
Very nice result there mate! How much did you end up spending on the whole project if you dont mind me asking?
dr_jekyll
in regards to the dizzy its fine upto around 650 bhp with the correct ecu because it is partly electronicly controlled. other options are the tt coils and there are a few after market options. there are a load of pics in this thread i dont know the exact cost of the whole project but the engine cost me £100. pistons £50 gaskets barings head bolts ect were around £200 (with good trade discount from a mate ) then thers your choice of ecu and obviously mapping after
Noz
you planning on ditching the dizzy?

dr_jekyll
great cesars ghost !!!!! temptation just got the best of me and i took it on our private test track for my first run it in and wow. it feels epic , pulls so hard and gets in the red so fast. im buzzing with the way the power comes on and how hard it pulls all the way to the limiter. cant imagen what a 800bhp car must be like if this humble 480 feels this savage . was making slighly over 1 bar on the road with the extra load on it so it prob a bit closer to 500 but just feels awsome . craig is pleased

RoyBoy7
Hi Craig Was wondering how far you can push the TT pistons with your set-up being a high compression engine
dr_jekyll
im thinking 1.5 bar with big enough injectors and a good ecu would be ample . maybe more but with this pigy back and 550s 1.3 bar was all she could do without taking out too much timeing that would spoil the low end
RoyBoy7
Craig , was reading the NA-T forum , DaveH made 700bhp+. Do you think these no's are achieveable on your set-up? What you think you could achieve no's wise ? What would you change ?can find DaveH spec list to compare it to yours
abtin90
Any idea on what standalone you'll be going for? Also would a piggy back unit like the emanate ultimate not allow you to run bigger injectors I remember reading somewhere tat the ultimate doesn't have injector latency?
