Supra Gaz
I just read this all the way through, cool thread and brilliant work I love the 'make things fit' process rather than buying the brand top end stuff and you still achieve awesome results. I am in for an R154 as well as I want to go 1jz, you have inspired me to get off my arse and do some work sir!

dr_jekyll
today was a good day finally done some test running with 154 and new wastegate setup. started at 7psi the run in the new clutch and flywheel , car felt great, very smooth .found the 260/66.18s on ther front were a bit bid and hitting the arches so i changed them for some 240/64s and all was well. i then wouldn on as much camber on the front as possiblke aand diled in atouch of toe out on the advice of chris wilson and thre front end feels great . the steering responce is instsnt and turn is is nice and pointy as i like it. ince i was happy with the chassis and confident the box and clutch was working well i removed the wastegate and fitted an extra spring. so she now sits beutifully on 1 bar. its the firts real time ive run it at 1bar sice ryan mapped it last year due to my gearbox issue an OMG. its sooo fast . i meantit is 500 hp of pure unhinged axe murderer. the way it delivers the power is savage and i love it . now to get paint back on it so i dont look like such a scab next time im testing it but yes, very pleased with how itrs looking initially

Chris Wilson
Can we start a poll on how long the gearbox survives please? Are you running a cemetery for dead transmissions these days? Nice work, hope it hangs together, that gearbox must be sweating cobs!

Nice work, hope it hangs together, that gearbox must be sweating cobs! i do have a lot of dead ones but ive fitted an r154 now so it should last a bit longer i hope. the delivery is pretty agressive, imguessing thats why all the w58s opt out
