Lude
had a full geo setup in october, as i had stupid amounts of camber going on. after spent 140 on a full geo setup, it was loverly & straight & handled ten times better. however ive looked at one of the back wheels, and i THINK the camber has come back? is this possible in such short time? i must add that the car was off road for the winter also so its only done a few miles! or am i being paranoid about the angle? Lude
buming this, im going to get the Geo done again tomo & sort the 1 side out. gona ask them in the garage, but isit possible the Camber arms can break/go/allow movement to alter the camber? if they get old & damaged? Lude
had Geo done again today, they said that if the camber goes again, then it must be the bushes gone. (doesnt seem anyone has any input on this thread?) will leave now if no reply lol
Chris Wilson
The adjusters may slip if not tightened properly. For the bushes to be so bad as for the camber to noticeably vary day to day they''d have to be totally shot. £150 is perfectly reasonable for a full geo check and adjust. Lude
thanks for that chris, yea paid £140 for it the 1st time, and £17 to adjust it again today (rear and front as it nocks the front out of line too) handling is spot on again, was crabbing the road before! he did it up nice & tight today so hope its just that. how would i tell if the bushes were totally shot? you cant see much of them as the arms/wishbone are blocking them on the back? Chris Wilson
If they were that shot as to allow noticable camber change the car would drive like a dog, fail a legitimate MOT, and scrub tyres off for fun. You'd just KNOW. Or I hope you would
