Mike25tt
Im about to purchase some wheels for my supe. I was thinking of putting 18's on, but I have chance of some 20's. The question is, do I go for them? Does it affect the handling a great deal, etc........... It would be great to hear from ppl who are running around on 20's, or ppl who have had both fitted and favour one or the other.
Sharpie
20" + Handling = Stick with your original 18" choice if you have to move away from your stock rims.
michael
Depends what you want really, looks (although some would argue 20's look daft) or handling. Personally I'm more into the handling so I'd stick with a sensible size. 20's are for showcar paperweights, footballers and monster trucks. merckx
Don't think there's many with 20" wheels for a good reason, not that many 19" neither. 18" ones are just right!
Justin
The tyre choice will go down and price will go up astronomically as well.
Sharpie
Here are some photo's of larger rims I have seen on soops - I hope this is more helpful than my last post Pic 5=18" (Bobbeh has these rims now) 4=19" - seen at TOTBIII 3=19" - seen at TOTBIII 2=19" (Leon ran 19's for a while, I'm sure) 1=20" - Total show car
Mike25tt
Thanks to you all, it has been a great help. I will be sticking to 18's then! I just cant decide on what make and design to go for now! I was opting for OZ or Racing Hart...............hmmmmm

TrevS
oh yes those Antera 349's do look really nice. I would be interested to see a set of these on a supra. Has anyone got a pic of them on a supra or photoshopped one?
black cat
If your showing it get as big as will fit, However keep your old wheels with new tyres (slicks) and take it on trak days, oh the grip.................... waste everything.......mmmmmmmm. then brake transmission.. not so good 18"s prob best, mine runs fine with 30mm drop. Oh hows the bumper tt steve.
Bobbeh
I wouldnt go over 18 if I were you, unless you're more interested in showing off rather than driving your Supra.
